Log HomesThese log homes historically replicate the original 200-year-old log homes of our forefathers. They consist of 6 x 12-inch or 6 x 14-inch logs that can be as much as 40 feet in length, and are hand hewn. We also have other styles available depending on customer preference. The homes are technologically designed for superior efficiency, settling, and structural sturdiness. Customers can choose from many standard plans or they can design their own custom home. In any of these cases, all of the homes are of the highest quality and beauty. Contact us for more information on these homes. Packages are available for delivery nationwide. Turnkey construction only available in the tri-state area.

Heavy Timber HomesHeavy Timber or Post and Beam homes are unique in their design. They have the appearance of a typical conventionally built home on the exterior. On the interior, there is a beautiful structural frame of massive timbers to create a beautiful and structurally sound home. The exterior of the home is framed as a typical stick built home or can be covered with a highly energy efficient blanket of foam core panels which allows the customer to finish the exterior in any way they choose (i.e.: siding, stone, or brick). Contact us for more information on these homes. Heavy timber packages are available for delivery nationwide. Turnkey construction only available in the tri-state area.

WineriesWineries are a new addition to our portfolio. With the Virginia and Tri-State Areas wine country expanding we've found that this is a new and exciting avenue for us to explore. With Notaviva under our belts, we are in the design stages for the winery buildings at Windhorn and Eagle Ridge. We have also found that the Vineyard and Winery owners are also finding interest in some of our other structures such as Gazebos, Pergolas, Pavillions, Summer Kitchens and Decks since most of the Vineyards also hold other events such as Reunions, Weddings, Office Picnic's, Concerts and other large gatherings!

This handsome building is Notaviva Vineyards Tasting Room as well as Steve & Shannon Mackeys family home. They approached us in the spring of 2006 about helping them build their Timberframe dream home that would double as the Tasting and Event Room for their up and coming vineyard, fondly named Notaviva.
After hammering out all of the details and getting the contract all worked out, Steve & Shannon informed us that they had been picked for HGTV's "Dream House". The entire construction of their home would be filmed for this 8 episode series to premier on HGTV in October 2008! How exciting! Well, the Premier is October 4th, 2008, so I guess we'll see how the construction of this house is portrayed. From all the permiting delays, normal constuction "dramas", Shannon's pregnancy and them being so hands on in the building process doing much of the finish work themselves who knows what crazy drama the producers will create with the editing of so many hours of footage. No matter how the show is edited, the building of this house was a great, fun experience and we are life long friends with Steve & Shannon, and enjoy thier company and wine any chance we get! Tune in to see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This home is also being featured in numerous newspaper and magazine articles check our news link for more info.
